Milli Major


Milli Major is a Grime artist from North London and member of foundational Grime collective ‘Bloodline’.

His solid foundation in Grime started in 2002 performing on legendary pirate radio stations Heat FM and Rinse FM.

Major has remained relevant by frequenting on commercial radio sets on BBC Radio 1xtra, BBC Asian network, and Kiss FM with DJ Cameo, Logan, DJ MK, DJ Limelight and more recently the Sian Anderson show, as well as underground internet stations like Mode FM & Radar FM. 

Major released his ‘Bloods Thicker Than Water’ EP in May 2015 by independent label 'Star Work Music' earning him the support of key industry tastemakers. Tracks like ‘Shut Down the Dance’, ‘Stable’ and ‘Winning’ were heavily supported by Radio 1xtra DJ’s Cameo, Mista Jam and Radio 1s Phil Taggart. The E.P featured legendary Grime acts including D Double E, Meridian Dan, Big H, Scrufizzer, Chronik and Flirta D as well as productions from Rude Kid and True Tiger

In August 2016 Major released ‘Reload That’ on independent Dance label 'Viper Recordings' which had huge underground success with the record reaching the B list on BBC 1xtra's playlist, as well as currently receiving positive responses in commercial clubs, festivals and radio stations in the U.K and abroad. The remix for 'Reload that' features popular acts Tempa T, Big Narstie & Example and was also made record of the week by Charlie sloth on his BBC 1xtra show. 

Major's current release ‘Remember Me’ which features grime veterans Scrufizzer & Flirta D has been play listed on BBC 1xtras C list as well as Reprezent radio’s A list and Westside radio’s B list.

The video release for 'Remember me' was trending in the U.K on Twitter and currently has 190,000 views on YouTube in an impressive 4 weeks.

With more massive collaboration singles in the pipeline as well as currently performing across the country as support act on the Jaguar Skills’ 'Ready To Rock' tour, 2017 is setting it self up to be a big year for Major.
